Famous criminal, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike a.k.a. Evans, has documented a claim against the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and three others at the Federal High Court in Lagos over his constant detainment.
Likewise participated in the claim as respondents are Nigeria Police Force, Commissioner of Police, Lagos State and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos State Police Command.
Evans who was captured at his Magodo chateau in Lagos on June tenth, says his confinement without trial is illicit and needs the police to discharge him.
In a basic rights implementation suit recorded for his benefit by a his guidance, Olukoya Ogungbeje, Evans is requesting that the court train the respondents to instantly charge him to court if there is any argument against him as per Sections 35 (1) (c) (3) (4) (5) (a) (b) and 36 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He requested that the court arrange his discharge if the police has no charge against him that would warrant him showing up under the steady gaze of any court.
